The year is flying by. So many things have been going on I have really had no time to keep up on our blog. Here is a quick update. I am working full time at smile perfect ortho, Briton works at Powell's automotive and just started UVU's police academy. He will graduate in July 2011 and hopefully find a job. I have been having a blast doing tri's this summer one of which I took first in my age group another second. I love being able to do something fun and exciting with my family. Briton has been working so hard going to school and to work he doesn't have much free time. When he is off we love to go ride bikes he also competed in his first duo (bike and run) this summer. By far the best and most exciting thing that has happened to us this year is we were able to be sealed in the Manti Utah Temple. It was the best experience ever and now I am even more anxious to start our family knowing we will be sealed together forever. Here are some pictures from that great day.

San Rafael Classic Triathalon

This past weekend me and Briton along with 7 of my family members competed in this triathalon. Brition did the duathlon and took 4th place overall. I'm so proud of him. This was my first open water swim and I'm proud to say I made it out of the water and took 1st place in my age group. It was a lot of fun I can't wait till Jordanelle!

We have been wanting to buy road bikes for awhile now, and with me doing tri's I really need my own bike to train on. So last weekend we got us some, lets just say we have road them every night since we love them!

Minute to win it!

I'm sure you guys have all seen the new game show Minute to win it on NBC. If you haven't you need to watch it. They list all the games on-line so you can practice at home. My mom put together a few of the games for us to play on Easter.

Game one: Punch your lights out, task to turn on the touch lights by throwing a bean bag at them in a minute.

Game two: Bottoms up, task tie a yo-yo around your wiest hanging on your backside then you have to get the yo-yo spinning to hit 6 cans over.

Game Three Elephant March, task put a ball at the end of a pantyhose then place on contestants head, who will then swing it back and forth to knock down 8 bottles.

Game four: Don't blow the joker, task place a deck of cards on an empty bottle, with the joker at the bottom face up, contestant must blow the deck off bottle leaving on the joker on top.

It's been awhile since I blogged sorry. Here are some pictures from our family Easter party. My parents had us all over for dinner, then they had an egg hunt for Rylee and Hallee. My dad knows his daughters so well he got us all an our favorite treat for Easter, peanut butter M and M's.

Woman Of Steel

Well I did it! Last Saturday I competed in my first ever triathlon. Along with my sister Lacey, Mom, Aunt Donna, Aunt Kathy, and cousin Trisha. It was the Woman of Steel in A.F. It's a woman only tri, so perfect for my first one. Everyone did great, of course mom, Lacey, and Donna kicked my butt, I still did really well. We had to swim first 300 meters, bike 12.75 miles, and then run 3.3 miles, I completed it in an hour and thirty five minutes. I felt great for completing my goal. When I was all done my wonderful fiancee was there to greet me, with a beautiful tri necklace. I love him and my family so much for all their support, thanks guys! Way to go Mom, Lacey, Donna, Kathy, and Trisha!

First let me start off by saying how sorry I am, we are bad bloggers. April has been such a busy month, well all of them have since we got engaged. Here are a few things that we got done in April. Engagements done, saw Hannah Montana with the girls, dress bought, tuxes rented, brides maid dresses done, made the invitations, guest book done, school, turkey hunts, and triathlon training (may 16 wish me luck). So long story short we have gotten a lot of things done for the wedding, but with school, work and that I just don't seem to have time to blog. So really sorry I will try to be better! By the way we are down to 47 days until we are married, I'm just so excited and I can't wait until we can start our lives together. Here are some pictures from our engagements, my friend Libby from work took some really good ones for us.

Well this past weekend was quite a busy one for me and Briton. We were able to get Briton all moved in to our new house/apartment. We are renting this wonderful house from a guy in Briton's ward. He is such a nice guy and a great landlord! We didn't have too much to move in considering it is just Briton living there for now, but it took all day! We have some AWESOME friends Brock and Katie who gave us couches, pots and pans, and silver wear. Thanks again guys that helps us out so much! Here are some pictures of our place before we moved in. We love Sundays at my house. We usually have everyone over for dinner, even if we don't everyone comes over anyway. I love it we always end up downstairs playing pool, darts, and air hockey with the girls. The two of them are so much fun, and they insist on putting the blue chalk dots from the pool sticks on every ones foreheads. Here are some fun pictures.

Briton turns 21!!

Well Thursday was Briton's 21st birthday. We celebrated it with his family. We all went out to dinner then back to their house to open presents, and eat cake. His family got him a new pack to go hunting with, which is great considering he drew out for the turkey hunt, and a new shirt. I got him a few new shirts and jeans, but his favorite gift from me was his new shoes. Briton loves his Doc's so I got him a new pair. The pictures are of our fun night, oh and I love the one of him modeling his shoes!

Here are 21 things you guys probably don't know about Briton...
1. He loves loves loves the turkey hunt.
2. He is going to enter in a turkey calling contest in February.
3. He is the second oldest of 4 kids.
4. He has 2 girlfriends and 1 Fiancée (Rylee, Hallee, and me).
5. He is excellent at making things, a really good handy man.
6. He gives the BEST BEST foot messages.
7. He makes me want to be a better person.
8. He loves DP (me and the drink Dr. Pepper).
9. He can win me at pool, but I kick his butt in air hockey.
10. He loves his truck I think a little more than me J/K, but he loves taking care of it always washing it changing its oil and other fluids.
11. He is my Tiger Woods, actually I think he is better, he sure loves to Golf.
12. He always wants to make others happy and show them a good time.
13. His favorite movie is Dumb and Dumber.
14. He loves Family Guy.
15. He is always there for me, and will do anything for me.
16. Favorite golf course is Palisades.
17. He is the best at playing Mario Cart.
18. He always makes me smile even when I'm mad at him.
19. He has a special technique (that I love to watch) to get his red curls to style just right! "Always use moose because it is lighter, and doesn't weigh down your hair."
20. He loves playing Tip In, in the summer with his Dad, brothers, cousins, and friends.
21. The best thing about Briton is his ability to love me, and deal with me (not and easy thing to do I'm sure). I don't know who I would be without him in my life I love him so much, and the person I want to be because of him. Thanks Babe for everything I love you so much, Happy Birthday!

It's really official

The date is set! Yeah we are so excited, so the place we want to have our wedding was already booked on June 13th, I was so sad, because I didn't really want to have a May wedding, I'm mean don't get me wrong earlier is great but I have always wanted to get married in June, so I was so sad and stressed. Then today my mom worked her magic and we were able to book June 6th which is only a week earlier, and in June! I'm so excited we were able to book it, so mark your calendars cause we are getting married JUNE 6th, 2009!!!

Finally Finals!

Well I'm finally done with Anatomy. Lets just say it has been HELL!! I took my lab final Friday night and feel really good about it, but I took my lecture final today. After 15 hours of studying for it, I feel horrible about it. My teacher made it really hard. On a happier note, he has a major curve, I'M DONE WITH THE HORRIBLE CLASS, AND OH YEAH CHRISTMAS IS NEXT WEEK!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Well today has been quite a fun day. This morning me and my sister Lacey ran in a 5K race. It was a lot of fun I loved it, and it made eating dinner even better. Then since my parents are out of town me and Briton ate dinner with his family. It was way good, fun day oh here is a picture of a real turkey for you one of the 3 that is in Briton's house!!

Thursday November 20th, I'm at work eating my soup all alone, everyone else went out for lunch that day. I'm thinking to myself what a boring day. When Gloria one of our up front ladies came in and said there is someone here to see you. I was thinking it was one of our sales reps, and I really didn't want to talk to them, but Gloria assured me that it wasn't and that I needed to come see. When I came out to the front desk, I saw Briton. He was holding a long board that he has been making me. I was totally surprised to see him. I said "babe what are you doing here, you brought me my long board?" Then he handed it to me I started looking at it, not really examining it, until I saw that the back side said something, WILL YOU MARRY ME? I was so shocked at that time Briton got on one knee and asked me. Of course I said yes, so it's finally official. We are planning on June 13th! I'm so excited, I love Briton so much, and I can't wait to start my life with him!

Thanksgiving!

Ok so I know we haven't been on for a long time so let me just fill you in. My family mom, dad, aunt's, uncle's, and grandparents are all going on a cruise over thanksgiving, and so is Briton's grandparents, so this past weekend was our Thanksgiving. Here are some pictures of my family's party that was on Saturday. Oh yeah it was also Rylee's birthday on November 14th she turned five years old. She loves Hannah Montana now, so we got her a shirt, she is wearing it in one of the Thanksgiving pictures.

Well the past two weekends have been quite fun for me and Briton. His dad finally got his Elk which, finally gave me back my boyfriend. We started off driving the alpine loop. I love to see the leaves turning colors, it's so beautiful. At our journeys end we stumbled across a star gazing party, and were invited to look at the stars. It was really neat, we saw Jupiter and a few of it's moons. Over conference weekend, we went down to Briton's grandmas cabin, for some relaxing. We got to watch some conference, enjoy the changing leafs, play domino's, and my favorite watch Briton make sugar cookies. After he made them me, Briton, and his little sister Mckenzie decorated them. I love doing things with our families it's just so great. Well I just thought I would let you guys in on our very enjoyable weekends, here are some pictures!

I was just looking through some pictures and forgot I was going to blog about my birthday. I turned 20 on August 8Th, me and Briton went to Park City for the day. Unfortunately it was a rainy day so we have no pictures of that, but we did go shopping at the outlets, and down the roller coaster at the alpine slide. It was so much fun. The pictures are of my flowers Briton sent me at work, he was quite clever. There are 8 Gerber Daisy's and 8 roses, how sweet. It was a great day!

Tri or NOT?

Well in July I started training to do a tri. It was going great, me, my mom, and Lacey were in a tri class. It was way fun, I acutually think I lost weight. Now with school I don't really have time to work-out. Here's the problem, my mom and sister and aunts are doing one in A.F october 4th, I could get back in the groove, I've only been off a week or two, but now I'm nervous that I wont be able to complete one. What should I do?

Okay I know it's been awhile since we posted anything, but it's been super crazy. I started school again, I'm only in one class, but for any of you out there who have taken Medical Anatomy from UVU, you will know how busy I am. I love all of the girls I work with, you guys have been so understanding and supportive, I know my stress level has gone up so much, and you guys have been great. Briton's dad has a big game elk tag this year. I know most of you aren't hunters neither am I, but this tag is a big deal. So lets just say that I never see my boyfriend. I'm doing school stuff and work all week, then he leaves to hunt on the weekends. It's good for us, even though we hate it. Well thats really all that has been going on, not much we are really boring!

Family Golf Tournament

Okay I know not all of you like to watch golf, I don't blame you it sucks to watch, but playing is another story. Every year my mom's side of the family holds a annual golf tournament. Anyone who wants to play is welcomed, but teams are drawn. So far the 3 years me and Briton have dated we have been on the same team, I guess you could say we are lucky! This is really good for me, and I have to brag a little, Briton is a really good golfer. Each year we have played together we have placed, which is really fun. This year we took 2nd place the pictures are us with our silver medals. Our team consisted of Me, Briton, my uncle Larry, and my cousin Trica. The golf course we played at, happened to be hosting ABC 4 beat the pro that day. For those of you who don't know what that is let me explain. They pick a par 3 on the course and have someone hit a shot (usually a celebrity) then you get to hit one shot and try to beat the pro. If you do good, or just make a fool of yourself, you might be seen on T.V. Briton held the lead all morning, but someone else beat him. Kinda cool though we were both on the news on Sunday night! Long story, but it was so much fun!

24th of July

This year I really enjoyed the 24th. Usually my family doesn't do much, and it is just another boring holiday. This year was different, and I'm so happy we were able to do what we did. We started out by having all of my dad's family over for a BBQ. That was such a blast, we never really do anything with that side of the family, so it was great to find out what they were all up too. Then when we were all done cleaning up the girls wanted to light fireworks. Me and Briton went to buy fireworks at a place by his house, while Matt,Lacey,Rikki,Garet, and the girls went elsewhere to by some. When we all came back to my parents house we had a ton of fireworks. It was so much fun to see the girls playing with sparklers, and watching there eyes light up as the boys (Briton, Matt, and Garet)put on a show for us, which was great! I love my family, and am so lucky to be so close to them! Here are some pictures of our fun night.

Brady Leaves

Well Briton's little brother Brady aka Bird left for his mission on Wednesday. He will be in the MTC for 3 weeks then off to Florida. They were able to get him off ok, but it was sad. We know that he will be a great missionary, and will be home before we know it.

I just have to take a minute and say how lucky I am to have my mom. She is so great. When she isn't at the hospital working her butt off, taking care of cute little babies. She is training for triathlons. I think she is an incredible woman, and just want to tell her thanks for everything mom, you are the best! PS. thats her running in the St. George tri!

I have too nieces that are a blast. I was able to take them this weekend to get gilter toes done. That was such a fun thing to do with them. I'm glad that I am able to hangout with them on the weekends.

Okay I think this is going to be fun. I'm not sure if Briton is as exited as I am about our blog, but I'm the one who will be on it so I don't care. I felt out of the loop at work. Everyone has a blog, so I decided to goin. We will see how it goes, I'm not too good with computers. I will try to get some pictures on of us, and let you know whats going on in our lives.
